PALM SPRINGS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Dear Parent/Guardian, Beginning on June 8, your Middle School child will be able to continue their Distance Learning with a fun, computer-based program that focuses on developing math skills. The program from Imagine Learning is called Imagine Math. A motivating, user friendly, skill building program to help your child continue working on math skills throughout the summer. Your support to get your child working is key but it is most important for your child to work independently at home. The first time a student logs into the program, they will be taking a placement test. It is extremely important they take this assessment independently, so the program can place them at the correct starting place. The adaptive program will reteach and support skills that students need for the next grade level. We encourage your child to do at least 45-60 minutes of Imagine Math daily. The goal is to complete 2-3 lessons a week. Imagine Learning has a parent support website for you to access over the summer. On the website you will be able to access fun educational videos, live math teacher support (grades 6-8), and technology support. To access the website go to: https://www.imaginelearning.com/at-home. Imagine Math Live Teacher Hours: Grades 6-8 Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-9:30 pm Friday 7:30 am-6:30 pm Saturday 9:00 am- 1:00 pm Sunday 5:30 pm-9:30 pm Students can access Imagine Math in Clever (see below). If you have a question about your child's username or password, please contact your child's school before June 5th.
