The purpose of this letter is to inform you about the current building closure, the restart of classes online after spring break, and give you information about how to contact us during the building closure. The school building will remain closed through May 1; however, school starts again online April 6. At this time, we do not have access to our phone lines; however, the District is working on getting us remote access to voicemail. We will let you know when this is active. Visit https://www.sbcusd.com/readysbcusd for the latest information from the District. Classes restart online April 6, 2020: Students, please do ONE of the following: Access your teachers Google Classroom pages daily to begin your online classes. If you are accessing your teachers Google Classroom pages you DO NOT have to complete the packet enclosed. Google Classroom codes for all teachers are available on the school website: https://pacific.sbcusd.com. In the case that you do not have any access to Google Classroom starting April 6, we have included a set of learning activities in this packet. These packets are for the weeks of April 6-April 17. Beginning April 20, it is expected that ALL STUDENTS will access their instruction online through their teachers' Google Classroom pages. We will be providing additional information soon regarding distribution of Chromebooks (if needed) for students without access. When you come to pick up technology, you can turn in your learning packet. Fill out the form http://bit.ly/NeedDevice to request a device. Technology Support: Let us know that you need technology by filling out the form at http://bit.ly/NeedDevice If you have a device, but it's not working, please call the Chromebook Tech Support Phone Line at 1-866-223-8685. FYI - Spectrum Cable is offering 60 days of free Internet service for families with students https://www.spectrum.net/support/internet/coronavirus-internet-offer-students/ Food Services: Through April 3rd, a grab and go lunch and the next day's breakfast will be provided M-F from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Pacific High School. The to-go food can be picked up in the main parking lot on Pacific Street. More details will follow about food service after April 3.
