Listed below is information; as we transition to distance learning through May 4, 2020. The Elementary Distance Learning Plan for Families can be found in detail here. There are a few specific things I would like to bring to your attention, so together, we can be well prepared at Hayes. Non-Technology Based: Classroom teacher communication with the student or family (at minimum 2x/week) will confirm Learning Board progress and completion. This communication can be done by phone, email or other arrange- ments agreed by both the teacher and family. Families have two options to select from for Distance Learning: Technology Based: Google Classrooms (Grades 1-4)/SeeSaw (Kindergarten) will be live for student access. You will be receiving an email from your child's classroom teacher prior to 9AM daily, for learning tasks and other need- ed classroom information. Your partnership is appreciated in supporting your young scholar in their educational journey while they are at home. I am thankful for each and every one of you. I know together our young scholars will continue to grow and learn in the weeks ahead. Thank you! Non-Technology Based: Learning Boards will be posted, specific to grade level, for student access weekly. Learning Boards can be found on our Hayes Distance Learning Hub, picked up at Hayes front entrance in the black filing cabi- net or received at one of the drop off locations listed at the bottom of this email.
