DUTCHTOWN GRIFFINS Dutchtown High School 2025-2026 Prep Days Wednesday, July 30th Thursday, July 31st JUNIORS (AM) AND SENIORS (PM) SOPHOMORES (AM) AND FRESHMAN (PM) Stations will be set up around campus to expedite the process. Please arrive at your student's time slot, listed on the back. If you have multiple students in different grade levels, you may retrieve everything for all students at once. Please read the following information carefully and be strategic in retrieving multiple students at one time slot. Station #1: Gym - Laptops & Schedules (Drive Through) RED When you arrive on campus, enter the south gate in front of the gym in your car and follow the barricades to circle around the front parking lot. You will line up under the gym overhang, and a worker will take your student's information to retrieve the materials needed. Please fill out the attachment to give to the worker. Once you receive the envelope and laptop, follow the arrows to drive to the back student parking lot near the football stadium. Park and log in to the laptop using the information in the envelope. You may then park closer to the cafeteria. The first time your student logs in to the laptop must be through an APSB server on campus. They may also log in while in the cafeteria. The envelope will contain a sheet with troubleshooting tips, the student's schedule, ID, and login information. If your student owes fees from the previous school year, they will have an obligation sheet included. Each envelope will also contain a letter of explanation for each of the documents and who to contact if you have further questions. Station #2: Cafe - Yearbook Pictures, Yearbook Pickup & Purchases GREEN You will enter through the Freshman Academy side of the Cafetorium for yearbook pictures and purchases. The student must wear a school uniform shirt, either collared or a school spirit shirt in school colors. ECO students will pick up their ID and take their yearbook photo here. SENIORS must wear or bring an appropriate shirt: boys - white, button-down, collared shirts; girls - short-sleeved shirts that won't show under the gown. Senior pictures will only be taken in the time slot listed for seniors. Make-up pictures will be done at a later date. Station #3: West Hallway - Nurse & Bus information YELLOW and PURPLE Follow the arrows to exit the cafe. ONLY Freshmen and Juniors are required to go through the Nurse's station for hearing and vision screenings. The nurses will ONLY be available during the 9th & 11th grade time slots. ONLY students who ride a bus will need to check in at the bus station. Please know the street address where the student will be picked up and dropped off. Station #4: Freshman Academy Hallway - Club, Sport, Organization Promotion Tables BLUE Follow the arrows down the hall to the Freshman Academy. What if my student cannot make the time slot assigned to their grade? a. Freshmen: Please make every effort to attend during the assigned time slots. i. ii. iii. It is important to be seen by the nurse for the mandatory health screenings. These are only done with 9th and 11th-grade students. If missed, this will not be made up during the school year. The nurse is only available during these two time slots. Bus information will be available at all time slots. Freshman materials will be available at any other time slot during prep week. If the student cannot attend any of the assigned days or times, their course listing may be picked up in the front office prior to the first day. Their laptops will be distributed within the first few days of school. Contact the school for bus information, if needed. Yearbook and ID pictures will be made up at a later date. Clubs and sports programs will be advertised through Advisory lessons. b. Sophomores: Please make every effort to attend during the assigned time slots. Sophomore materials will be available at any other time slot during prep week. Sophomores do not need to conduct a health screening with the nurse. i. ii. iii. iv. Bus information will be available at all time slots. If the student cannot attend any of the assigned days or times, their course listing may be picked up in the front office prior to the first day. A collared, polo-style shirt in purple, white, gray, or black. A Dutchtown High School or Griffin spirit shirt. All shirts must be school colors. No tank tops, thin straps or deep necklines. School-appropriate bottoms, such as black or khaki pants or shorts. A bright face and a big smile! Welcome to Dutchtown High School! b. Seniors: i. Girls- a short-sleeved shirt with a scoop or V-neck (not too low) that cannot be seen under the senior gown. Gowns will be purple. ii. iii. iv. V. Boys- a white, collared, button-down shirt. Gowns will be purple. NO T-SHIRT School-appropriate bottoms, such as black or khaki pants or shorts. A bright face and a big smile! PLEASE ADHERE TO SCHEDULED TIMES i. 3. Where should my student go on PREP DAY if they are an Early College Option student? Students who are attending Early College Option should attend on their grade level day. They can bypass the first station, park in the back lot and go straight to the cafeteria to pick up their ID and take their yearbook photo.
