WHEN WE READ, WE GROW Book Character Parade We welcome our parents to view the parade of readers at the Children's Book Character Parade, which will be held at 9:00 a.m. Students are invited to dress as their favorite book characters! Parents need to be inside the gate by 8:50 a.m. The gates will be closed at 8:50 a.m. Parents are asked to park on the grass by the front gate and line the parade route. Parents will not need to go inside the building for any reason. The students will walk out the front door, turn left and go around the front circle clockwise, go through the parking lot on the sidewalk side and turn right and walk down the bus drive. Please line up on both sides of the route. Parents do not need to go inside the red gate. This is reserved for students. We ask that students not paint faces, color hair, or wear clown or scary gory masks. If the costume does not interfere with student learning, they may keep it on after the parade. Otherwise, the students will need to change into uniforms. MARLOW MUSTANGS
