Summer Learning 2021 Sign up begins March 22 at noon. More information coming soon. Summer Reading is an in-person learning experience designed for current elementary students. Summer Reading will provide students with intensive support for foundational reading skills. Participating students must be referred by their school. June 7 - 24, 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Elementary Learning Academies are online courses using adaptive software with whole group and small group instruction available with a teacher. Students entering 1st and 2nd grades may choose from reading and math. Students entering 3rd-5th grades may choose from reading, math, and coding. Academies are offered in both June and July (June 7-30 and July 7-30). STEAM is a modified version of our former STEM camps. Now we've integrated the Arts! Students may attend one of two sessions (June 7-17 or June 24-July 1). STEAM camps are for students entering the 2nd-5th grades and are in-person. 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Themed Summer Enrichment Courses are online courses offering 6 hours of teacher- supported programming covering core subjects, arts, and physical activity. Students may choose from 3 different themes: National Parks Adventure, Route 66: Road Trip and Earth Explorers (July only). These courses are offered June 7-30 and July 7-30 In-Person Learning sessions run Monday-Thursday. Locations will include Lewis & Clark/St. Peters, Mount Hope, Pheasant Point, and Rock Creek Elementary.
