NEED TECH SUPPORT? The Salt Lake Education Foundation, Salt Lake City School District and Salt Lake City Public Library System have resources available for students and their families. COMPUTERS Families can check out a computer/laptop or device from the Salt Lake City School District. Community members can come into any Salt Lake City Public Library location for Express Services beginning on September 21st. They will be able to access a public computer for 30 minutes and receive staff help for up to 10 minutes. TECH HELP Community members may set up a phone appointment with the City Library s Tech Help. Appointments are available Monday Thursday, 4 8 pm, and Friday Saturday 4 6 pm. Call 801.524.8200 to schedule an appointment.* Parents can enter a technical support request on the district website or visit one of the district s three technical support locations from 11 7 pm, Monday Thursday. BROADBAND ACCESS Families can check out hotspots from the Salt Lake City School District. Ask your school for more information. The Salt Lake Education Foundation has promo codes available to allow households to sign up for Comcast Internet Essentials at no charge. See your school for more information. The City Library has a limited number of hotspots available to check out. Hotspots can be placed on hold on the SLCPL website. CANVAS TRAININGS The Salt Lake City School District has on demand Canvas training online. The City Library is able to assist parents with basic Canvas questions; please contact your local library for more information.
